What is coaching?

Put simply it’s a supportive conversation or series of conversations. Conversations which hold you in positive regard and allow you to think and explore yourself and whatever issue you want to look at.

We will gently ask you powerful questions that move you to understanding, appreciation, perspective or even acceptance - so that you get to the heart of the matter. We then give you the structure and prompts to turn this into action.  And after our coaching programme finishes, you’ll have the tools to move forward with greater self-awareness, insight and confidence for the future.

Is it really a partnership?

It is. Even though the meetings are virtual, it’s nice to think of it as sitting beside one another looking at stuff together, rather than being opposite each other across a desk or across screens.

What happens in a coaching session?

We chat. We share. We explore. We don’t need to apologise for our emotions. And there’s always room for some moments of levity and light relief too. But you feel heard and understood. It’s time for you. But it might not always be easy and there might be moments of discomfort - as you are the one who has to do the work and take the action. Vitally, what happens in a coaching session is totally confidential.
